Great Hike and Scenery

Warm temps meant the ice and snow were melting. This made for a wet and muddy trek but the scenery was awesome.

This park is just absolutely breathtakingly beautiful. My friends brought us here when we were visiting the Boulder area. It was covered in snow and I felt like we were in a movie. It felt fake. It was just so stunning. We hiked around a bunch and sledded a whole bunch too and it was just a wonderful day. We... More

I stopped here after working in the area and truly enjoyed my short hike through the park. The views were spectacular and the scenery inspiring. The trails were a bit muddy but that did not diminish the experience for me.

The area of Chautauqua is a serine environment to behold, it is breath taking to stand and view the mountains from this location, It is quite, a natural environment and a place of no equal. The walking trails are not too difficult, they are relaxing and give a sense of accomplishment one you have made the trip. Little in Boulder... More

This park and its beautiful views are a "not to miss". In addition, you can enjoy a wonderful brunch on weekends. The view of the flatirons and hiking paths are a plus. It is good for all ages and parking is ample for most days.

Very poor recent experience over brunch. Cold eggs, French toast that was cold, flat and hard. Undercooked bacon. One of our party served nearly 10 minutes after the others. The staff didn't seem to care much that we weren't happy with the meal and didn't offer to the-cool any of the dishes, although they did admit that the problems we pointed... The food was wonderful and the service was good. The butternut squash flatbread was soooo good. The flat irons are right there which makes this a great location. This was a great place to spend time with our family for the Holidays.

Beautiful hike, especially as you get past the tree line. It's an easy find and quick onto the trail. Because there is little/no shade, be sure to bring plenty of water and don't forget the sunscreen! But it's crowded. Really crowded. Parking can be tough.

Ok so I have a Pokemon Go habit. Even when hiking. They are all over this park, with places to collect balls & gyms. The paths are well marked, but cold weather iced up the water. Lovely trails. We went here 4 times during our holiday visit.

Thank Kelly J
