Situated in the heart of an energetic city is beautiful, historic Downtown Boulder. At the heart of Downtown Boulder is the Pearl Street Mall, a wonderfully charismatic four-block-long pedestrian mall that celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2007. Colorful, bright flowers fill the mall almost the entire year and street performers, with a multitude of talents, make the Pearl Street Mall one of the best people-watching destinations anywhere.

This is a fun place to visit with lots of shops, restaurants, and little events going on. If you like strolling and being outside, try this place. So many little shops to visit, coffee shops, and restaurants too. The street artists are quite entertaining.

Pedestrian friendly mall with something for everybody. Cool shops and places to eat and drink. Street performers are great. There is a "pearl street" shopping district tax added when you buy merchandise.

Fun, busy, loads of people of every type and kind. Street performers, music, fabulous shops and art, from every scale from cheap to expensive. Had a blast!

Pearl street has fun shopping. A large homeless population hangs out on pearl. Great places to eat for all....casual, formal, quick, sit down. Pearl has it all as far as food.

Always something to see in summer. A lot of people and often there is music or festivals. The place is teaming with street performers and activists. But a nice experience. The first hours after sunrise are amazing

An average downtown experience. Public bathroom was gross. A few nice shops and a cool train for kids to ride on Fridays.

We are from Cleveland, Ohio and this street reminds us of a few we have back home. A lot of nice shops and a friendly atmosphere.

The Pearl Street Mall is American 'downtown' perfection. I loved the wide array of individually owned shops and restaurants, as well as the beautiful gardens along the way. Pearl Street is the kind of area every suburban town tries to emulate, but Boulder hits the nail on the head.
