The idea is fun: a sunken area next to Boulder Creek with windows so you can see under water. Unfortunately it's hard to see through the windows, they're not well maintained, lots of sediment on the water side, and scratched up on the dry side. I did see a fish though, as advertised! Plus, it's free, and on the wonderful... More

A view into the creek could have been a good diversion. Unfortunately it's hard to see through the windows into the creek because they are filthy as other reviewers said. To top it all the viewing platform has an inch of brown gooey mud to get through. Come on Boulder Council... Fix this

Good idea, poor follow though. Probably there was a designated cleaner of the windows at one time, but no longer. So what do you see, a murky creek, which is not really interesting at all. Also just now with the creek running so high, you really can't see anything. Too bad, but don't bother.

I remember when it was newer, back in the late 80's early 90's. You could see very clear and the occasional trout would swim by. Then again I remember a much different Boulder in the 70's and 80's. Oh well still worth going and the creek is still fresh and alive. In the Spring and early Summer the air blowing... More

They don't clean the windows and therefore you can't see anything. Might be a good idea if they maintained it. That's half an hour of my life I'll never get back.

I love Boulder and I was going around the city as I saw where they filmed mork and mindy house. But when me and my mother went there it was so murky and of coarse collage students where there other than that took nice photos of the Boulder creek.

Stopped by here today after being told how to find It by my son. You park in the back lot of the Millenium Hotel and walk down to The creek. There are 4 windows but they are really dirty and you can barely see anything. Not worth the time but it would be a great idea if they could keep... More

We rode down the path specifically to find this and was disappointed to find that it's just some dirty algae windows.

Don't bother. This is not an attraction. This has been around for a long time. Located behind the Harvest House Hotel (formerly affiliated with Hilton and Clarion, and now with Millennium for the past decade+) along Boulder Creek, an excavation with a walkway in it puts you at water level in the creek. You can attempt to look through mid-sized... More

Difficult to find, and once we got there it looked as if the glass hadn't been cleaned in quite some time -- there are several big, round windows looking into the creek, but only about the top four inches were clean enough to be able to view the creek. The rest were covered with scum. Not really much to see.
