Great shops, and decent restaurants. Views from mainstreet are great. I will bet it is great during the ski season. Shops seem to close early during our summer, weekday stay.

Have your walking shoes ready for a day of shopping. There are many little shops. Stop in at Starbucks for a cup of joe and keep moving. Downtown is just lovely with lots of flowers and sidewalks for strolling. There are good shops for skiing...More

Main Street was a classic tourist trap with ton of gift shops and overpriced stuff. I would like to see it in winter all lit up. Lots of restaurants and bars as well. The Welcome center is great with helpful staff, and a free museum....More

Absolutely, he stores are pretty much year round. Traffic won’t be as bad as peak ski season.
