We spent several summer hours in this open park by an elementary school with our 4 and 6 year old grandsons. We didn’t use the dog park but enjoyed the happy pup scene. The kids explored a variety of climbers and slides and novelties in...More

Bring your own sled/saucer and have fun! Off leash dog park ridge at the sledding hill so the 4 legged kids can have fun too! You do have to trudge up the hill before you head down it. Restroom here and lots of tables to...More

Once you find a place to park, your visit to Carter Park is totally worth it. A long hill that isn’t too difficult to climb up, but so much fun to sled down!

Carter Hill is a popular sledging location. Not the steepest slope but a. slope none the less and the kids and adults had fun for an hour or so. Easy to get to and on site parking. Bring your own sled.

Great place to take the kids sledding. And the adults too. We had so much fun, we tired ourselves out hiking back up the sledding hill over and over.

We hiked up the left of Carter Park, great view of the ski runs! There are a lot of steps, maybe 100? then you can choose between trails to take at the top.
