Stayed a few days here while rafting. Wonderful little town with great energy. We had a great time walking along the river and the shops/restaurants were fun.

Nice trails along the Arkansas river. It was fun to watch kayaks and float trips attempt the rapids. There are varying degrees of difficulty on the trails on the rocky side of the river. The trail head will show which are the more difficult.

This is close to town and vey walkable. Lovely trail along the Arkansas river. Some areas with access to water. Enjoyed watching the kayaks. Only downside is it seems like it is being developed along the farther end with condos etc. could take our dog....More

Beautiful and peaceful place on the river. The city has created some kayak skills training areas in the river, unfortunately when we were there, no one was practicing or using the river. Perhaps that was become of the heavy rain/snows they had received that raised...More
