We had heard about the Gorge and Bridge and decided to check them out. Totally happy that we did! The Arkansas River gorge is awesome. The bridge is spectacular. Go out of your way to experience this! Yes! The staff on duty was particularly pleasant...More

The Royal Gorge took my breath away. Absolutely stunning, pictures don't do this place justice and no words can prepare you for the view

We spent about 3 hours at this park. It was a decent price to get in. A few shops and a couple of places to eat. We didn't eat there. We went across the canyon on a gondola which was an excellent experience even tho...More

Royal George was not part of our original trip plan. But after a friend showed me the picture, we decided to forego the Pikes Peak Cog Railway for this. It is about 1.5 hours from Colorado Springs; the road was not busy as it was...More

Hello and thank you for visiting! We wish the winds could have cooperated while you were here. Due to safety, we do have to shut down the Gondola when those winds come up, but I'm glad you enjoyed the natural scenery and man-made bridge. It...More

We just walked the bridge. We arrived at 8am. We had the bridge all to ourselves. It was an awesome experience and we got to take our time and pose for as many pictures as we wanted.

Had been to this park many years ago. The upgrades and amenities that they offer are amazing. The bridge used to have cars going across and I believe it is limited to golf carts and park vehicles now. Definitely worth the time and money to...More

I would have given it a 5, but it is a little pricey. There is plenty to do there and you could spend many hours. There are 3 ways over the 1000 ft plus gorge: Gondola, bridge ( highest suspension bridge in the world and...More

We visited here with the intent to just see the canyon, and were pleasantly surprised with SO much more to do. There is a petting zoo, air tram to the other side of the bridge, and a cool zipline. We highly recommend ALL OF IT!

Hi! So I'll be camping near Canon City during a road trip and I wanted to stop by Royal Gorge before leaving for Texas. However, I have to arrive at a campsite that is about 6 hours away by 10p.m. Would a visit to Royal Gorge's bridge, gondola, skycoaster, and zipline be doable for a 5-hour stay? Thank you ahead for your replies!

Although I did not do all of those things while I was there, my opinion is that it should be easily doable. Wish I could be more specific.

My 79 yo dad wants to zip line. He can't do hiking so I am wondering whether we can get him to the zip line with a wheel chair or is it an easy walk? Are there stairs to climb?
