It's a bit of a walk from the visitor center to the chapel, but it is a beautiful place and well worth your time and effort. The Visitor Center also has some excellent displays that help you better understand and appreciate the excellent education and training our future military leaders receive.

We got to visit with an Active Duty Air Force Officer so his credentials helped us get on the Academy grounds. There's a short, paved walkway from the parking lot up over a hill and down to the Chapel. There's some nice signage showing you what flora and fauna you're looking at and then once near the Chapel the sign... More

This, like West Point, is a must see. The grounds are enormous and beautifully kept. The church is fantastic. We enjoyed the movie and display in the visitor center. It is difficult to get to the church area if you have trouble walking. However you can drive around the entire academy and get views of all the general areas.

The academy has a really large visitor center that is very nice. But other than that, the loop road skirts so far around the complex that there is not much to see. In fairness, I believe there may have been a tour of the chapel but we did not take it. A little disappointing but nice to show support for... More

The Academy is one of the most breathtaking places I have been in a longtime. The traditions and history are around every corner. We spent almost an hour in the chapel, the docents are all former academy students and graduates.

Free to visit. The chapel is really amazing and is worth the trip alone. Nice museum and a gift shop like any other college.

We took the short walk from the visitors center. It is up and over a hill, but it is a paved walkway, so it was pretty easy. The chapel is gorgeous!

I chaperoned a group of 36 cadets all from Denton, TX on this amazing trip to visit the Academy. The grounds were beautiful and fun to walk at times on the trails. The film at the gift shop about the life of a cadet was very informative.

I'd seen pictures before, but seeing Cadets' Chapel in person was breathtaking. The organ is noteworthy, with more than 4000 pipes from 36' tall to the size of a pencil. If there is a docent there, ASK for a tour of the highlights.
