The man is clearly gifted!! He adapts the scripts, makes the dolls and puts a different voice to each one of them; it was simply amazing. EVERYONE; young, old and in-between needs to go just once and I guarantee you'll be a fan, and will...More

Nine family members went to see The Secret Garden on 7/20/2018. It was outstanding! Not that we were surprised in the least. We saw Pilgrim's Progress earlier this year and we've seen David's The Puppet Maker Christmas show many times. He is a very unique...More

I book tickets almost yearly when I travel to Colorado Springs. Conveniently located in Old Colorado. The theater is small and intimate. The marionette performance is created and performed by one man, David Simpitch! He hand-makes the Marionettes too! Shows change several times yearly. A...More

Simpich is a wonderful experience - it starts with a store in the front with unusual clothes and jewelry - much fun (plus there were two wonderful and BIG puppies there to greet us as well). Then you move on to the museum with the...More

The Simpich Showcase is one of the few traditional marionette theater in the US and though I wasn't sure what to expect, it's a delightful experience. The owner handcrafts all the puppets and does all of the performing and voice acting. The show pulls you...More

Went to see The Firebird over the summer, our third show in four years, and we were still amazed by the artistry and talent on display. Great for families with kids about 5 to 6 years and older, as well as couples. We hope it...More

We try to visit the Simpich Theater at least once a year. This is a delightful family business with a doll museum (Simpich dolls), a gallery featuring stunning photos (Kemper Simpich) and paintings (Robert Simpich), and a charming new boutique managed by Gwendolyn SImpich. This...More

I recently attended the Firebird performance. This is the 4th time I have viewed a performance at Simpich over the last 7 years. Absolutely loved them all!!!!!! David, the puppeteer and creator, is magical in his ability to captivate and entertain. During Firebird the audience...More

Yes, you can order online through their website and choose your seats. Very small theatre, but seats closest are still best since you will see the detail of the marionettes and stage much clearer.
