We had a group picnic here. There were great facilities in a nice setting. It’s a historic park built by the founding fathers in the early 1900’s. Great for walks, walking dogs, pickle ball, or temmis.

This park is huge and depending on what area you go to, your visit will vary. This park has plenty of space for hikes, picnics, a playground, and beautiful views. It'd be a nice place to go hang out with family and friends.

It's beautiful year round. Love taking the kids there to play. Sometimes it's not too crowded, and those are the best.

Within the urban setting of the city, this park is home to a trail that follows the creek on both sides for miles and miles. Absolutely wonderful and really worth walking any portion of it.

I like going to this park. First of all i'm a railroad nut and this park abuts the now Union Pacific railroad. Trains go by regularly. This park has pavilions that can be reserved for group outings. There is also a city swimming pool. And...More

It's an empty stretch by downtown along the busy highway with a creek. Grass is kept green. The highway noise is ever present. There are a lot of homeless people loitering at the entrances. Parking can be tricky. Downtown is mostly metered parking.

Nice walking/running/bicycling paths along Fountain Creek called Pikes Peak Greenway passes through the park. You can go north to Fillmore or Woodmen or south to downtown. All the tennis courts have been turned into pickle ball courts, near the Fine Arts Center and Colorado College...More
