This takes you right into the Cheyenne Mountain area. The trail is not really difficult but you are going up all the way (probably climb about 1,500 feet). The enjoyable hike has a well maintained trail with trail markers. Very beautiful.

We did the 4 mile hike to the falls. Steep and challenging but beautiful scenery! Falls were a welcome site at the end!

After finding out that there were fees for 7 falls we chose this one which was also nearby. There are several photo opportunities here. We did notice some people in the area where the sign said "do not enter" smoking marijuana I'd avoid this area...More

It’s ok nothing wonderful. Do not bring small children they will be slipping all over the place on the uphill dirt trail. I was so nervous that mine would slip under the rail.

Helen Hunt Falls is in North Cheyenne Canyon Park, which has several different trails. The drive through the forest to the falls is beautiful and there are picnic tables along the roadside. For those not interested or able to hike, the drive alone is worthwhile....More

This is a pretty easy climb with a huge reward. We had a party of 9 and we all loved it, young and young at heart. So glad we got to see this lovely falls.

Be prepared to hike an elevation or just come to see the water fall either way you will not be disappointed. It is free but if you are coming on a warm day parking may be difficult so be prepared to walk.

I am blessed to live only about 30 minutes from here, but this hike is exceptional!! If you go early you can avoid some of the crowds. It’s so peaceful as you get closer to the top and the water is singing.

The whole park - North Cheyenne Canyon Park - is well maintained and free to visit. Helen Hunt Falls is an acceptable substitution to Seven Falls if you are budget conscious.

Hi Vanessa - I have not been to Seven Falls, but know that it can get pricey for "what you get". Helen Hunt Falls is only about a mile or so for there and back. It may feel a little longer because it can be steep in some... More
