We stayed walking distance from this park for a week. The sign by the Uncle Wilbur fountain said it runs from noon to 6. (Subject to change). Twice we tried around 4:00. It was turned off. Once we were told it was weather. Granted it...More

I'm not from around here so I found this park kind of 'adorbs'. I found it a nice little spot to relax, drink coffee, grab a sandwich, rest from shopping, take photos... and otherwise chill - something I, admittedly, don't do very often. Recommended.

It was an ok park, kept up nicely, but there were a few homeless people hanging out, and the atmosphere was just ok. Maybe not the best park....

Found out there was an outdoor Ice Skating Rink at Acacia Park...it was Great. The kids & adults loved it & it was not expensive at all. They didn't want to leave. Wish it was a little bigger, but it was Great.

Trees and walks and Uncle Wilber Fountain (in the summer time) right downtown near good eating (from Skirted Heifer and Jose Muldoons to Subway). Craft and food vendors often in the summer. Yes, there is the occasional homeless person...

A nice little city park marred by homeless people sleeping under trees and pan handlers all over the place and who knows what going on in the controlled substance market, especially when it starts to get dark. A civic embarasment.

The location is a nice break from the downtown hustle and bustle. It has huge friendly squires. The grass is decently kept. Because of the amount of traffic, there is always food littered on the ground and homeless people taking up the benches. Probably not...More

Acacia Park has a little splash pad families use in the summer. Other than that, it's a dump. The hordes of homeless people there keep the park from usable to the public the rest of the year. The shops and restaurants around the park are...More

This park was a disappointment. There was a playground and an area to play something similar to shuffleboard. But that was about it. The park was filled with homeless people sitting and sleeping. Not really a place I felt safe.
