It was a nice natural state park. Lots of wonderful wildlife too. It was clean and a very nice surprise to find in the area.

We make a point to stop by when we are in Denver but short on time. Didn't see as much wildlife, but still enjoyed our stay. It was SUPER HOT, so sun protection and water is highly advised.

Took my 3 and 6 year old grandkids to see the wildlife and they had a blast! They can't wait to go back and see more deer and buffalo. The adults had a good time too, we'll definitely return.

We went during the middle of a hot day and enjoyed watching prairie dogs. Did not see any other animals. Other reviews suggest going in the morning or evening for the best chance to see animals.

It's hard to believe the refuge is only a few minutes from the heart of downtown Denver. We did the driving tour to save on time. Saw lots of deer and prairie dogs, only one buffalo. Probably would have seen more later in the day....More

This beautiful refuge is set in an industrial part of Denver. It is a lovely surprise and offers nice walking paths and a small pond with floating boardwalks. There is a really informative and attractive building on the site with a small gift shop. Check...More

Great place to see nature right around the corner. Especially now that they have expanded the Bison area. It is a wonderful place to visit
