It was early December, so only a few runs were open. It snowed all day, so loved the snow for skiing. Staff was very helpful and friendly from parking lot to rentals to food to lifts. Lockers were pricey.

In the early season the resort is catering to racers and Revolution tour competitors. Racers take over the Superbee runs and best of Excelerator runs. THE revolution tour takes over the center of the mountain and MOST of the resources of the resort IN terms of making snow and opening slopes. Only two runs are left open for the rest.... More

Saw some of the prior reviews saying to stay away Thanksgiving weekend. Luckily I didn't see this until I bought my ticket online (save money that way doing it at least a day early). I went on Sunday of Thanksgiving weekend and the crowds were very small. Hardly ever waited to get on the lift. The trails were a bit... More

Thanksgiving week is the kick off to the ski racing season. Teams from all over the country as well as international teams and the US Ski Team make their home here during this week. If weather cooperates, plenty of terrain for all. This year, drought conditions and limited terrain. Poorly managed lift lines lead to long waits as it is... More

They only have one lift and one run open to the public. The top lift is reserved for the racing teams only so you have to wait a half-hour plus in line to take one three-minute run. In addition to having their own lift and run, the racers also get to cut the line at the bottom so you literally... More

Typically I love Copper but they do a horrible job making early ski season fun for regular folks. During thanksgiving week the place is run for race teams and while they claim 4 runs are open only 1 run is open to the public (and the racers take that over as well). Lift line is 30 to 45 minutes and... More

It's a beautiful place, the ski runs amazing, very long, and nice views. Lots of stores, and restaurants. Worth the price.

I've been coming to Colorado since the early 90s and now only ski Copper. I love the lay out of the runs.

Copper Mountain is situated on the Continental Divide, and snowmobiling here doesn't get any better. I did a tour, and my guide was quite helpful and courteous. We cruised around one of the reasonably well groomed paths. Couldn't wait to get onto the "play area". I would definitely recommend coming here. You can go all the way up above the... More

Copper tube runs are perfect in that there is something for everybody. A quite tame run that is very fun but not too fast. There are also a couple of medium speed runs and then one that moves like a rocket sled for those who are adventurous.
