Bike from town via bike path

Be light on land. Overused and eroded. I bet the was nice backbin the day! traffic jams mar the experience.

This was just the sort of hike we were looking for for our young kids (2,5,7). My biggest complaint was how difficult it was to find. When you get out of town on peanut road you need to go past the first parking sign, past a home, past the lake and some old tower, around a hill and past another... More

Nice area to bike close to the city center. Finished this on a loop trail. The whole area is so beautiful, I'm sure any trail will make you smile. Lots of families on this one.

We rode to the Upper Upper loop right from Crested Butte by following the bike path & riding through a cow pasture which was interesting. We went early in the morning & had a nice young buck cross our path. Went through Upper Loop, 7 Bridges & Upper Upper Loop before heading over to Brush Creek Rd & picking up... More

We went to Crested Butte with aspirations for different and longer rides, but rain and mud kept us closer. Upper Loop was a fun quick loop right from Mt. Crested Butte. Can be linked up to make it longer. Not as many flowers as the other side though.

We were there in early July, wild flowers were already blooming. Lower loop seemed easy so we decided to go for the upper lower loop. The views were awesome so, we were stopping frequently to take photos and after a while we found out that it's pretty late and getting dark. It's a long walk to the parking lot and... More

We went the end of Sept and the leaves were changing so was beautiful, but this would be a great drive any time of the year as the mountain views along this drive are spectacular!

Love this trail! You can run it as and out and back, or out and half back to town, or take your flat lander friends on just the upper out part and stash a shuttle at Skyland. Explore around the boulders and figure out how all the seashells got there?

Lower loop is an easy enjoyable hike through a fabulous scenic meadow. This July it was full of wildflower. The path is narrow so I enjoy wearing hiking shoes. Make sure you are covered with sunscreen and bring water. There are some bikers on the trail, so be alert and move to the side. You can hike as long or... More

We ended up connecting to these trails using the Woods Walk trail (just outside of town on the road to Kebler Pass). The trail begins with a 200-300' stroll through Aspen trees. It then opens into a meadow filled with wildflowers, with views of snowcapped peaks in the distance and Crested Butte in the valley below. The trail is well... More
