Going down into the mine and learning about mining in the Cripple Creek/Victor area is a wonderful experience. It was more wonderful a few years ago before the admission price was increased beyond what most families can afford for, though a unique, a very short experience. I gave MK a "Very Good" because it is, however, I give the management... More

We visited Cripple Creek to learn more history about the old city and the miners. It seems that the casinos are invading our old western historical cities! Anyway, we went down into the Mollie Kathleen Mine. This was a great tour (even though we went down inside a cage)! The equipment is still down in the mine and our tour... More

We've visited the Mollie multiple times in my life, and it never gets old. From the instructions to get down the mine to the ride down (don't fart!!) and the tour through the mine you are always entertained. It is so educational and as hands on as it can be, while making sure you're safe 1,000 feet in the ground.

My husband loves to learn about the history of mining. Our tour was given by a third-generation miner. We were not disappointed. The ride 1000 ft down in a little cage was scary-cool. Highly recommend!

Me & my wife did the Molly Kathleen about ten years ago on 1 of our trips to Cripple Creek, just looking to pass some time. This was the best part of our trip! You will love the elevator ride; the guides are very professional and informative; wear a long sleeve or light jacket, pretty cool down there. Make sure... More

We booked this tour as part of our do it yourself railroad tour of Colorado and are REALLY glad we did. The rails we wanted to ride were at the bottom of the Molly Kathleen Gold mine a thousand feet below the surface. The actual train ride was short and only a small part of the mine tour. You descend... More

We REALLY, REALLY enjoyed this tour. The trip up and down was very fast in the metal elevator...before you know it you are 1000 feet down. It's a little chilly so they will provide you with a mining coat and a hardhat...your kids will look super cute in it - trust me! My boys were about 9 and 6 when... More
