Larimer Square is a great area to walk around and find fabulous places to eat, cocktail bars for drinks, and retail for shopping. It's lit up beautifully at night with strings of lights hanging across the street.

We walked through Larimer Square on a visit to LoDo and 16th Street. It was a highlight. Lots of restaurants and shops with local charm. We found it much more interesting than LoDo or 16th Street.

Mainly a tourist trap area it has a lot of nice restaurants but everything is expensive. Worth checking out and most of the restaurants are good. The best place is the jazz club, Crimson room in the basement. Shops there are snooty and expensive. The...More

Took a walk around the square during the day and the night. I have to say, it's pretty during the day with all the potted plants, and pretty shops/restaurants but it is beautiful at night with all the lights on. They have the cutest pet...More

Larimer Square is a nice boutique-style shopping area in Downtown Denver with lots of interesting eating options for anyone (veggie or not). It's definitely a place to visit if you're downtown!

Coffee and pastry at The Market. Steak house, French bistro, South American, American or Fusion at Tag are the very good lunch or dinner options. Great restaurants on near-by streets too. Parking can be difficult and expensive. Make reservations.

We found street parking and put in all of our coins to buy 2 hours of parking. The shopping was just okay. We did not eat. I did not think the area was particularly special.

Hi, I personally did not travel with my dog, but there were many places that dogs were permitted inside the shops and restaurants. Water bowls for dogs were outside at many places as well. Hope this helps!
