I loved larimer square! As a solo business traveler, I walked to the square for coffee in the mornings and drinks and dinner in the evening. Fun, safe, high energy area that you will want to visit.

This is a great place to walk about and stop in the local shops with a really quaint, small town feel. We loved the lamps and flower beds on all the street posts and the hanging decorations.
I took two teens here. We walked from our hotel. Great shopping with familiar stores as well as unique finds. Ice-Cream and restaurants were yummy. Enjoyed by the whole family.
While the area is pretty with the lights all across and it is clean compared to other parts of Denver, There are some good restaurant and bars in that area. At night all stores are closed. So basically find a restaurant you like.
