Go Broncos

We was here in January during the AFC championship, and they had the dancers dressed in Bronco colors! Great picture moment and easily accessible using the 16th street bus.

The renovated Union Station is just part of the story here. New high rise housing is still being erected and shops and restaurants abound. Connected to the world by the light rail system ($9 to Denver Airport), Amtrak, buses and the Free Mall Ride, this is a nice place for shopping, eating and people watching.

All of LoDo is fun, but the Larimer Street part, with its great little restauranmts, delightful shops of all kinds, is really a place apart. For us, it's the p;lace to have lunch, walk around, shop here and there. The dinner op[tions are great, too.

Loved the city and the ambiance when we were there. We went to many different bars for the pub crawl Halloween weekend. We had a great time and will be back next year!

We enjoyed the 16th St Mall, its free transportation, the variety of businesses, convenience stores, eateries and atmosphere. A vibrant and friendly area for an out of town visitor!

LoDo (lower downtown) is the main entertainment and dining area of Denver. Hundreds of restaurants and bars are in this historically preserved area with many buildings at least 100 years old. On weekends, droves of people come from all around to hang out and the choices for food and drink are limitless.

Went to Biker Jim's had a great meal, so many things and places to see. Go before the rush hour would be my suggestion. Get's rather congested during morning and four and five.

We visited the LoDo (Lower Downtown) area of Denver for one afternoon, as we were trying out various areas of the city. This is a very walkable, interesting and trendy area. It is packed with good restaurants, bars, hotels, boutiques and art galleries. Union Station and nearby Coors Stadium are very popular attractions as well. It was worth the visit!

I love coming to LoDo before a Rockies game or for happy hour. After 11 PM, the area has a college feel so I tend to leave by then. It has great options for food and drinks. Great spot for happy hour with friends or even brunch!
