Lakeside was, many years ago, a great place for families to go enjoy the amusement park. Years of neglect and simply, failure to control park visitors to the point that it is now a scary place to many, have turned Lakeside in to a bad...More

We took the kids to experience some old school amusement park and midway. They also have a giant rollercoaster. Everyone had a fun time. It could use some upgrades, but we had fun. Lower your expectations, it is not Disneyland

Reading another reviewer's disgust at the worn paint on the carousel animals made me chuckle a little bit, because those carousel animals are old, rare, and VALUABLE. I was happy my kids got to ride on them. The trip to Lakeside was one of the...More

Being on a tight schedule as I drove from St. George, UT. to Denver, CO. earlier the day of my visit, I only had about an hour to visit Lakeside, which was not enough time to fully enjoy the park. Parking outside the park is...More

I took our son here to ride the old, but classic roller coaster and other rides. The place is great for kids and very inexpensive.

We went on a Sunday night, thought this would be a perfect way to end our summer. For a $100 for a family of four, this was super expensive. Especially since some rides were broken down, there is trash all over the place, weeds, muddy...More

I had driven by this place hundreds of times and always wanted to stop in, at least to walk around and see an amusement park along a lake, take a stroll during the sunset or twilight. I went with my daughter, my niece and her...More

This is a very historic park but it is really falling apart and neglected. I don't see how this place can sustain itself for many more years at this rate of neglect. There are rides that have been partially disassembled with just the skeletal remnants...More
