Terribly boring. My friend convinced us to go because we had nowhere else that day but we really shouldn't have listened. I actually fell asleep on a bench, that's how boring it was!!! ( look at the pictures)

The zoo was one of the highlights of our trip. Easy parking, great exhibits, and decently priced food. If you have little ones, buy the refillable cup- it's worth your initial price of $4.75 ($1.75 after that). Plan on about 3-3.5 hours with the little ones.

The Denver Zoo has many attractions throughout the year and is open almost every day of the year. Some of the attractions are geared to adults while others are geared more to children. One of the many favorite things that i can remember throughout our many years of being a zoo member is getting to see a mama giraffe give... More

What a nice place for the entire family. The new Elephant habitat is great. I just love to take my grant kids there.

Visited this zoo during the day to spend time waiting for a PM flight out of Denver. I expected the zoo to be bigger, and I was a little surprised to see some cages with bars. I didn't think zoos still used bars anymore. The animals did look to be well taken care of and the cages were clean.

I travel here on a weekly basis with the little boy I nanny for. They have some great animals for the children as well as different play areas... Some with sand, others with mini huts and cut out logs. This week we arrived just as someone was feeding the rhinos, which was fascinating for both of us, and we were... More

No trip to Denver is complete without a trip to the zoo. Probably one of the best zoos in the country. On cold days, go to the Tropical Discovery and stay warm, but don't forget to see the penguins, polar bears and Siberian tigers. They all love the colder weather and are more active in winter. In the summer heat,... More

Came with the family, and thought this zoo was excellent. The only reason for the 4/5 was poor parking. Had to walk about a mile to the entrance. Get there early if you want to park in the zoo lot.
