We went late october, which apparently is slow season. Im very sorry but i feel like some of the cages are just too small for the animals. It is a beautiful zoo but i will not be returning

Had a nice time just wish there would have been more exhibits and shops open. Still worth the trip at a decent price.

I believe the Denver Zoo to be one of the best anywhere, and as the title exclaims, it's perfect for an outing with several younger children. We've visited ten or more times in the past year, usually arriving early in the morning, along with the countless young mothers pushing their stroller or hauling a wagon with one or more kids... Especially if you have children with you. This is a great way to spend an entire day, make sure you have comfy shoes and layered clothing as it'll get either very hot or a lot cooler as the day moves on..

Having a four year old means going to the zoo every summer. Something we began when she was two. This year there were many baby animals which attracted adoring crowds of people. The layout works very well. The kids sections are great for the little ones.

My family and I LOVE this zoo, and visit at least a few times a year. There is a nice variety of animals to view, shows to watch, and entertainment for the kids (carousel and train). Boo at the Zoo is a fun event they have around Halloween, with trick-or-treating for the kids. Zoo Lights around Christmas is beautiful and... More

As I have an interest in conservation, I regularly visit zoos to see how they are coping with the demands of a changing world In general the zoo was very well laid out with a lot of well designed pens for the animals. As I had already checked out the website, I knew that they had a special event with... More

Awesome varieties of animals! They need some more maps around the park, I got lost because it is too big. They should have workers roaming around if anyone needs help I didn't see anyone.

I went on a free admission day, so it was crowded, but not overly so. Things moved smoothly and it was always easy to get a "front-row" view of the animals. There was a very good variety, There were quite a few poisonous snakes, Komodo Dragons, Mongolian horses, a red panda, and so many others. Food seemed expensive so I... More

My wife and I went to the zoo on free admission day. It was busy as to be expected. The weather was beautiful and most of the animals we out. Despite the large crowds, we had a great time. This is the first time that we've been to the Denver zoo. We would go back.
