Took three of the grandchildren, ages 7, 9 and 11, and we totally enjoyed the experience. Relatively small aquarium but well laid out and beautifully decorated. An excellent selection of sea life that achieves top marks for visual displays. We purchased the tickets that also...More

We visit the Downtown Aquarium each time we come to Denver. It is a nice Aquarium with lots of interactions for kids. Wonderful exhibits with lots of explanation for those who would like to learn more. The Tiger in the tropical rain forest area is...More

I am a diver, and an avid ocean enthusiast so I admit bias. but ever since it opened as Ocean Journey, this has been a pretty nice exhibit. of course it's no Monterey, GA (Georgia Aquarium) or Shedds, but it's worth checking out for the...More

We decided to go to the aquarium since we hadn't been in such a long time. First, it is very overpriced admission. The aquarium is small for what you pay, so we walked through the whole thing in less than an hour. In order to...More

Not very large, but a good aquarium. Liked the otters and feeding the stingrays. At most would take 1-2 hours to see it all, so it is quite expensive.

One of the worst aquariums I've visited. Poorly engineered, the flow of visitors continually stopped at several bottlenecks. The display tanks were severely overcrowded and very poorly lighted. I was very disappointed as I uniformly loved everything else about my one week visit to Denver....More

Where do I start, it's overpriced for what you get. And so many chokepoints with soccer moms blocking the way with their oversized strollers, and 10 kids running out of control. It seemed like every exhibit there is someone trying to take a picture blocking...More

Nice aquarium that is great for kids because it is not too big and has plenty to look at. The food there is good, but overpriced, which is typical for this type of thing.
