We took our kids, age 8 and 4, to this museum for an afternoon. What a gem! The price was half what we pay in our home city, and the quality much higher. There are permanent space, dinosaur and animal sections, plus several traveling exhibits....More

The museum itself has many nice exhibits. However, the children are horrible, and I've never seen so many at a major city science museum. While reading a description, a child climbed over the sign that I was reading. The parent said nothing. Moments later, at...More

Definitely place worth visiting. You need to book whole day if interested in seeing all areas and experience IMAX and planetarium shows. It's a bit different from what I seen elsewhere. In general a number of different parts - nature (Colorado and global), space, body,...More

One of the best things about this museum is the free parking - I know that sounds silly, but so many other museums require parking. This museum has great exhibits and it's very interactive!

Excellent! Only regret is that we did not have the great grandkids with us. Prehistoric exhibit was mesmerizing. From the time you enter the exhibit to the time you leave, there is so much to see and learn. I was overwhelmed by the dinosaurs.

The Denver museum of nature and science is a great museum with 3 floor of great exhibits. The viewing deck of the Rockies is spectacular. We enjoyed the gem exhibit and the prehistoric exhibit the most but they are all great.

Benny's at 7th and Grant - vibrant atmosphere. Traditional Tex-Mex fare. Nothing fancy about this place, just good food!

The Ramada Denver Downtown is within 2 miles of the museum, there is also a Days Inn Denver Downtown that is even closer - a little over a mile away.
