My son and DIL live on City Park. You have this great park with walking, ponds, biking, playgrounds and more. You also have the Zoo and the Science Museum and so much more. Great city park and amenities.

Convenient location in a nice neighborhood. Lovely place to walk around the lake. Lots of couples and dogs. You can golf there too.

I think this is the most underrated park in Denver, despite being the biggest and just 1.5 miles from downtown. It houses the Zoo and Museum of Nature & Science, and there are a few lakes/ponds, soccer fields, fountains, tennis courts, a big playground, and plenty of open space. Super easy to get to, and lots of trails criss-crossing. Great... More

We spent a couple hours walking around this park on a recent trip to Denver and it is just lovely. Tons of people out enjoying the weather, lots of dogs and families.

Very big park bordered by the Denver Zoo and Museum of Nature & Science (from which you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Rockies and sunsets). Several playgrounds for kids, tennis courts, lakes and lots of paths for running/walking. Only downside is the geese, who poop all over the park. Watch where you walk!

This is a real Denver jewel. The park has a lot to offer in terms of history and it is just a great place to take a walk.

If you are short on time when visiting the mile high city this is the place to see downtown with the beautiful Rocky Mountains in the background. We only had a few hours before heading to Fort Morgan to see family so this was a great spot to take in the awesome city/mountain views. And even if you have a... More

The park is great--jazz nights in the Summer on Sundays are hard to beat. The lake brings geese, and with geese come goose "presents," so just watch where you put your blanket before you sit down. Great place for pets and families!
