If you are not going to climb a fourteener, this is your chance to experience one without having to climb it. Close to Denver, accessible by car... beautiful views! Only open in the summer and it costs $15 to drive up unless you have a...More

What a view! I agree with other reviewers - the drive is not for the faint of heart. It may even be more impactful to your health than walking up. The road keeps getting narrower and narrower with less and less guard rails while getting...More

What a beautiful drive to the (almost) top of this 14’er. $15/car to enter - faster if you have cash. Be sure to climb to the top of what looks like a rock pile for spectacular views.

This was not as exciting/pretty as I remember from childhood. I think Guenella Pass is a prettier drive with better hiking trails and it’s free. It cost $15 to get in. The top of the mountains parking area was way overcrowded and they wanted a...More

About a 2 hr drive from Denver. Once you enter the Mt Evans sign , the drive starts with winding roads with not railings on the side. Following the speed signs and warnings makes the drive enjoyable. Take multiple stops to enjoy the beauty around....More
