This bike path is really impressive. They've gone above and beyond to ensure cyclists don't have to cross over any busy roads. They've created tunnels and underpasses and even have mile markers so you know how far you've gone. I highly recommend started at Cherry Creek State Park and going from there. The bit in downtown Denver is congested.

One of the issues I have when in large city downtowns is where to do my daily run. I hate having to stop every couple blocks for lights, so I was happy to have a path that went on for several miles. The scenery was interesting with some falls in the creek, and I liked that you were next to... More

Cherry Creek runs through downtown Denver and was created for bikers, runners and walkers. The entire span is about 5 miles and ends up at the upscale mall on one side and old downtown on the other. Most of it features one path for bikers on one side and one path for runners and walkers on the other. Only downside:... More

This HAS to be one of the longest bike paths in the entire country. It starts in the Lower Downtown (LoDo) area of Denver and goes all of the way 25 miles SE to past Parker, CO, a very distant suburb. It is excellent for joggers, bicyclists, and rollerbladers. It does go along the Cherry Creek, so you want to... More

This path, recommended to me by Runner's World as a great place to run in Denver, lived up to its expectations. No traffic to worry about!

I enjoy riding on this bike path. It is a flat and easy ride and it is easy to access so many parts of the city.

My family and I like to walk near Confluence park and often see cyclists on the path. Our neighbor rides from downtown to the southeastern suburbs often. Beautiful parks, neighborhoods and a view of the mountains in the distance make the path truly lovely.

Long paved path through Denver metro area along waterways. Pick a stretch and explore on foot or bike, watch the wildlife, even find a place to eat. Nice green corridor in the urban landscape.

This is a very popular path that runs from Confluence Park (right by the big REI store) on the South Platte out to Cherry Creek Reservoir. It runs just south of Downtown on the northwest end of the trail. A portion runs near downtown Cherry Creek. It's a great place to ride and run. Many portions of the trail are... More
