Who'se for a bus ride

Don't think it's a shopping mall. It's a tourist area downtown. Plenty of coffee and eating places amongst business buildings but can get you closer to places for free.

good place to take out of town guests to get a feel for the city. has a nice upbeat vibe, but have heard crime is on the rise, typical of a downtowns area. nice shopping, great bars and eateries.

The area offers many shops including local and mainstream. There is also dozens of restaurants and eateries. It is typical of any outdoor street mall. It does offer a free bus service; there are also plenty of bike taxis around if you don't feel like making the walk.

We like to go down there to shop and just people watch. We can waste an afternoon there pretty easy. There are a bunch of restaurants and stores too.

although the offer of the free shuttle up and down the mall is great, I found the increase in homeless people and their constant begging and harassment rather daunting and as I was a solo traveller did not enjoy this...shops looking tired as well......

Great food selections. Unique selections at great prices. Great shops to just "bum" around and shop.

Went here Thanksgiving weekend at night. There were enough people around that it felt comfortable and safe, but not crowded. There were a couple of homeless people along the 10 block stretch asking for money but nothing that made my suburban kids uncomfortable. There were lots of lights around the trees giving it a winter wonderland feel as well as... More

I visited when the Christmas stalls were up and going. I enjoyed the Europe like Christmas market style. If you are beer drinker then the beer tent is for you. Vendors selling German food will compliment that beer. The European style pastry was ok. I have had the real thing so I recognize this as a sugary imitation which falls... More

Being the heart of Denver you can find anything there. Plenty of shopping and restaurants and parks nearby although I wasn't particularly impressed by the parks because of the very large number of homeless and sketchy looking people all over. I'd love to visit again on a summer day though.

This is downtown Denver complete with a marijuana dispensary and lots of homeless. The free bus that run the length of otherwise pedestrian street is convenient. Returned more than one to go to Walgreens for essentials and to find less expensive food, but not really an attraction or a must see. No one bothers you but sad to see so... More
