There are many shopping and restaurant options but it is a bit seedy. The free buses that run up and down the street are great and gives excellent accessibility.

We visited this location on our last day in Denver. The parking at the Tabor building is a little more than we expected but it was right off the street so that was a plus. The shopping is okay nothing special. The walk was a...More

You can eat on the 16th Street Mall, you can drink. But don’t expect to shop there. Except for a small grouping of chain stores like H&M, Gap, Forever 21, Uniqlo, and a sports fan store, there are no shops worth a glance. Denver doesn’t...More

There are a ton of better malls in the Denver area than 16th street. Nearly all the store are chains, there are a ton of bums, and it’s dirty. I personally avoid 16th street mall. I will say there are some awesome restaurants here though.

I stayed at Le Meridian Hotel around the corner. This is a short walk from there. The shops were nice. There were horse drawn carriages as well as rickshaws to get around. Fun atmosphere except the homeless guy that randomly started yelling obscenities at me....More

A great area for tourists that want to walk and shop. Many fine restaurants, pubs, shops to enjoy. If you enjoy your visit here also try to go to the Pearl Street mall in Boulder Colorado.

This is a fun walking tour with cobblestone streets and all the shops that you would hope to find while visiting another city. They have everything from pharmacies to fine restaurants and a continuous shuttle that runs up and down to union station for free....More

Yes, I saw a few people on with luggage. If you have a stroller they do ask that it is collapsed before boarding.
