If there's another theater like this in the country, I'd be surprised. The movies Landmark Theater shows there are great, of course, but the decor is what the place is famous for. It's a straight up cross between art deco and quasi-Mayan bas-relief/columns/etc. I used...More

The Mayan in a Denver Landmark, with great film selections, gourmet snacks & a bar upstairs. The area around it has become Denver's hipster center, with many music clubs, shops & restaurant.

The landmark Mayan theater on Broadway in the Baker Historic District offers first run movies and the occasional classic. From the Eclectic Marquee out front to the looping staircases and heavy ? Velvet. Curtains, the Mayan brings you back to the 40's and Fifties era...More

Old time theatre. Very retro. The seats aren't the most comfortable but the ambiance more than makes up for that. What a cool place.

The Landmark Mayan theater is funky and small. It attracts people who are interested in first rate films that may not be shown in larger venues. It has many devoted fans including myself.

I love the Mayan Theater on Broadway. The film selection is always limited, focusing on independent and foreign films. Which of course is great, getting you away from the normal movie theater crowds. The theater is styled with Mayan décor, and in the actual screening...More

The MAYAN is a classic old school theatre with all the charm of the way theatres used to be, paired with the modern technology of digital projection and sound! Its the best of both worlds! And with a staff that's over the top 1st rate!...More

This is a Landmark theater, so it mostly shows art/independent movies. It's often the only place where you can see some movies, especially foreign or obscure ones. The old balcony has been converted into two small theaters, and the seating there is very good pretty...More
