This place is awesome! It's right in the Oxford hotel (just off the lobby) and has a total prohibition vibe right down to the decor (although they say it's modeled after the bar on the Queen Mary....hmmm). The drinks are really good and the staff is fun to interact with. It's not a huge place so if you have a... More

The most beautiful bar in town and one of the most beautiful anywhere -- food can be ordered from McCormick's if you're hungry -- they make a nice cocktail and have a great wine list -- it ain't cheap --

The Cruise Room opened the day after prohibition ended. The bar maintains its original decor, providing a great experience. The food, beverages and service are all fantastic.

This is a hidden gem that no one knows about. The atmosphere is great for couples, for happy hour and friends. I love the old juke box. And you can't beat martinis and oysters. If you have a chance to stop here, you must.

This is located in the Oxford hotel. It has a lot of history behind it. My husband and I ordered martinis and both were excellent. It gets very crowded so get here early. It is nice that you can also sit in the lobby of the Oxford hotel. It's a neat hotel with a lot of history and the decor... More

This place is awesome! This bar opened the day after prohibition and stays true to its roots. The vibe is absolutely the best with the wine shaped room and red lights. Our bartender, Aaron, was amazing! He mixed some of the best tasting cocktails I have ever tasted. He was also very friendly and knowledgeable, sharing the history of the... More

Visited for cocktails. Loved the original architecture: Art Deco panels designed by person who designed the Queen Mary. Very sophisticated cocktails with complex layered flavors. There was a Lamborghini parked outside.

It is as advertised - BUT VERY loud and crowded so we went to their other bar, the Corner Bar. Nice happy hour and service

A beautiful Art Deco joint with a great history Cocktails are well made -- good wine list and bar snacks from McCormicks -- friendly but sometimes harried staff. Can get crowded

Evidence of carefree postwar days abound in this beautifully appointed tiny gem of a martini bar. The long corridor-like room is actually shaped like a wine bottle. The low yellow-red ambient lighting gives the entire room an amber glow. On every surrounding wall there are reliefs designed into the stone that reveal some form of the saying "Bottoms Up" in...
