This is a relatively short hike with awesome views! You may even see some elk! Keep your dog on a leash and take some drinking water. Don't forget your camera!!!

Very beautiful area to wander around in for a while or maybe longer. Unfortunately we only had time to stop and stay for a lunch, but sure did enjoy the time here and the views.

Dillon Reservoir is such a gorgeous place! We love going there multiple times every year! We rent a boat from the Frisco Marina, we love to camp at Prospectors Campground! Adorable little towns by it, and a free outdoor shooting range! Love, love, love it!!!

lake is just a few steps from our hotel. visited last christmas week and even in the cold weather the view is just magnificent. it has bike and running trails. or if you are just a nature lover, just find a good spot and chill-out.

Western water rights laws are pretty complicated, and supplying Denver and other western cities involves a lot of construction and a lot of lawyers. It's fascinating stuff. There's actually a town under that beautiful body of water.

From every angle, this was breathtaking. We drove across the dam, went down to Frisco to learn about the history, and up Swan Mountain to walk the point. Absolutely gorgeous views!

There are camp grounds, hiking trails. Bike paths, marinas and so much more. Visiting this September with the color change was an added bonus.

There are many campsites! Our favorite campground on the lake is Prospectors Campground. We've also stayed at Peak One Campground.
