Dillon Reservoir is a great place to relax and enjoy the water and views. You can go to the Tiki Bar at the marina for snacks and beverages, or walk along the water edge. Quite relaxing in the morning!

I do this hike about eight years ago when our kids were little and today I did it by myself and it was a good memory of when my kids were smaller. Going down the left is a very short hike, and has the best...More

We had a great day wandering around the reservoir. We packed a lunch and loaded up the doggies to go exploring. We weren't sure what we would find at the reservoir, but there were covered picnic tables, walking trails, and biking trails. There was a...More

Camping, hiking, bike trails, paddle boarding.......recreation paradise. I walk my dog here in the summer he loves swimming in the lake. One of my favorite places in Summit County.

So the marina was under construction, which meant there was barely anyone at the park. "Forest Gump" moment for us because we picnicked, sat on the beach and on one of the many benches and just soaked up this scene with the park to ourselves...More

I first saw the Dillon Reservoir while driving on Highway 9 near Frisco. You don't realize how huge it is until you drive across the Dillon Dam road from Dillon to Frisco. You don't see much of the reservoir from I-70 even though you drive...More

Rode our bikes along the water for miles and miles! The scenery is great! There were places to stop to view the bald eagles. We also saw restrooms along the way.

For boats yes, but I don't think anything is needed for rental of kayaks, canoes, paddle boards.
Is there a paved bike path around/near the lake? And if so, distance? We are contemplating bringing our bikes with us. Thanks!

Yes. There is a great paved bike/walking path all the way around the lake. I believe the total distance is about 10 miles can also hike along the shoreline and out on the peninsulas. These are easy paths.
Is there a phone number that I can call to make reservations to camp at Dillon reservoir.
