Great Views friendly town

Great Views friendly town. Stop into the Dillon Dam Brewery. They have good food and great beer. Hamburgers and fried chicken both were great.

This was a beautiful area to see water and mountains. There is a lovely park with playground and picnic area near the marina. We walked for a while on the rec-path that leads around the reservoir. One day we attempted a bike ride along the path but had to cut it short as storm clouds quickly rolled in over the... More

Nice paved area that surrounds much of the lake and dam. Very interesting to see the beauty of the mts. and the water as one total picture. Could take pictures here forever!

Whether you are on the lake itself, riding a bike or walking around it or sitting at the Tiki Bar...the views are breathtaking. You can rent a boat from Dillon or Frisco Marina and tootle around the entire reservoir and stop along the way.

Dillon Lake is surrounded by the most scenic mountains in the Rockies. There are roads ringing the lake and in late September the aspens ring it with brilliant gold. Stop at the Safeway in Frisco and make a deli sandwich to take to the Swan Mountain road (one of the ringing roads) which rises to give incredible views. There is... More

This is a beautiful lake in an even more beautiful setting. The view of the lake with the mountains in the background is spectacular. Don't miss stopping here.

We hiked along the reservoir and viewed the boats out and the mountains in the background. Just wonderful.

If you want a great place to kayak, paddle board, sailing, or fish for fresh trout, this is a great place to go. They don't allow swimming or jet skis, so it is always a quiet place to go!
