I scheduled a massage over the phone. Show up for my appointment and they say I'm not on the schedule. Then tell me that their receptionist cancelled my appointment on accident because another client who shares my name who is of the opposite sex left a voice mail cancelling their appointment... Even if that's true the appointment had to be... More

We love this Amaya, a lovely relaxing little sanctuary in downtown Durango. My boyfriend and I have both received many massages here. The massage therapists on staff are all incredible and the relaxed bohemian environment is soothing to the soul and body, the prices on the massages are the best in town and making it even better is all massages... Amaya is a little, urban gem of a place to go to when you need consistent, top quality massage, and a serene place to soak. It is more on the utilitarian side of things. Drop by on your way out to dinner, or on your way home from work. The folks are friendly, and every massage therapist I've had has... More

I went here often as a result of convenience. The hot tub is often dirty and inconsistent in temperature. The robes and towels are of poor quality. Towels are extra. The sauna was installed improperly and does not get hot enough. The guest have decided to throw water on the sensor and heating element in an effort to fix this... More

My first time coming to this location for a massage and I wished I scheduled more time to soak after! The easy location caught me off guard and was pleasantly surprised by the lovely surroundings. I had a deep tissue massage and it was wonderful and really worked out my sore spots we discussed before I walked in. Staff was... More

I go here all the time- the punch passes are a good deal for locals. Ryan is by far the best massage therapist I've ever gotten a massage from. The sauna is comfortable and really gets humid. The backyard sitting area is a nice place to read or cool off. All in all a great experience. The one downside- sometimes gets... More

I arrived in Durango after a full day of travel and kinks in my back. The next day I booked a massage and found the experience to be healing in so many ways. Upon entering Amaya, there is a sense of calm and simplicity. The friendly reception included a cool glass of spring water and a greeting from my masseuse who... More

Amaya offers alot! I was only looking for some mountain hot water soaking and was advised to try Amaya for convenience and good pricing. This will now be a regular on my visits to Durango. The staff was friendly and helpful...there are even swim suits there to use if you failed to pack one. Two tubs: biggest one has hot... More
