We drove from Durango and it took about 30 minutes. The views of the Rockies is incredible and so worth it! We walked around the resort. The shops are cute and the view is amazing!More

I stayed here during the summer. Lots of activities. Beautiful resorts and a great way to get out of the desert heat! Durango is a cute little town with lots of great breweries. I'll have to come back in Winter!

Flying or driving depends on where you live in Texas. American offers direct flights into Durango from DFW. Driving just depends on where you are in Texas. Amarillo can be a good place to spend the night. With kids that... More

It's a 30min drive to town. Waiting on a shuttle might be even longer. I'd get a car. Parking was free during ski times, so not sure if you have to pay to stay on the mountain.

You can't tube on their hill. You have to rent their tubes. There are plenty of hills to tube on but not on the hill that they plow for their tubes.
