I have been a skier all my life. The last day on Durango (Purgatory) Mountain my wife wanted to try snowbikes. Being the good sport I agreed to take the class but said after the class I would get back on my skies. We signed up and had a great instructor (Donna). The lesson was not long, we recieved our... I am not a skiier. I am not a snow person. I tend to be a beach-wine bar- snorkel-skydive thrill seeking person. So of course, I had a hint of skepticism when my boyfriend said "Let's go skiing!" Um....ok. All my worries and cares were quickly laid to rest during the snowbike experience. My instructor Mike "Sparky" Sparkman was fantastic!!!... More

Being a skier, I was doubtful that I could enjoy a snowbike. I was totally wrong! Mike and Donna who run the snowbike experience at Durango Mountain Resort were outstanding instructors. Their "custom" approach, guidance and personal escort on the run down the mountain were more than anyone could wish for in learning the art of the snowbike. They definitely... More

I can't describe to readers how much fun snow-biking is in just words, but Donna was the best! DMR has discovered a treasure in her and the snow-biking experience that they offer! I can't wait for my next trip down there. The snow was amazing at Purgatory and this was a great chance to do something slightly different but altogether... More

Mike and Donna were excellent instructors that helped me feel comfortable on the bike and than on top of the mountain ready for... More

Growing up in Colorado one would think that I would have spent my childhood weekends on the slopes but I never did. Now as an adult I have taken a few ski and snowboard lessons but I never felt comfortable enough to get to the top of the mountain. The Snowbike Expererience changed all that. After being on the bike... More

Donna is a great instructor. I've never skied before and at age 66 I was fearful of injuring myself on skis. Snow biking seemed to be an easier way to enjoy the mountain. Boy, what a good decision! Thanks Donna for the lesson. I enjoyed myself so much today. Made 4 or 5 runs in the new powder. It was... More
