A quiet, peaceful river that flows through town. We stayed at a motel with the river right behind it and enjoyed exploring with our dogs.

Fast cold and high, the Animas in June was a blast A must for adventure seekers . We went in a super premium raft with Rivertrippers. Would do this again in a heatbeat

A great stream touted as a great stream for fly fishing although I personally could not attest to this claim. We watched many rafters having great fun.

River is very scenic. Followed it on the Durango to Silverton train ride. Even on a rainy day it was very nice.
