Our visit was in September of 2016....my husband and I lucked out and we were the only two on a 90 minute open range horseback riding trip..followed by a 90 minute ATV tour. This was a fantastic time...our two wranglers did both trips...very friendly,,,great horses. My husband and I were staying in Breckenridge for our honeymoon. This excursion was a short drive (40 mins) away. The couple running the ranch were great and have ran it for over 30 years. They were great to learn from. The people there were all so friendly and helpful. We have very little horseback experience, but they really helped... More

It was so fun getting to ride horses through beautiful woods and meadows! The ATV was super fun too. Devon was awesome, the owner was very nice, and overall I just loved the vibe of this beautiful, old, Colorado ranch! I will definitely be back.

The owner can care less if you have a good ride or not! They stolen two of are horses after leaving them for a better job...you can support them if you want... not this cowboy!

You'll see a number of reviews mentioning the eccentric owner and they are all more or less true. But who cares! The important things are, the horses are well cared for, the ride is amazing and the chief wrangler Devon is the nicest man on the planet. My wife had so much fun riding across the range in more or... More

My husband and I went ATV riding today, we both had never been ATV riding before. So we were not sure what to expect. Wow, what fun! Our guide Devon was a gem, told us a lot about the area and was experienced and helpful. My only complaint we were told to arrive 30 minutes before our ride time. We... More

If you are looking for the best horsebackriding in the world thats a right place. Wranglers are really proffesional and informative about area and horses at all. You can ride horses your own way. You can ride side by side not nose to tail. All horses are really nice and gentle. Wranglers watch you all the time during the ride... More

Stan seems to have the market on ATV rentals, called SouthPark ATV's and after a short conversation - he hung up on me! Then called American Safari and got the same man (however much nicer the second call). Once, we got there, our first impression disappeared. The setting is beautiful, right in a valley between the mountains. Both husband and... More

We did a one hour ATV experience at American Safari and had a great time. We have been on more challenging courses in the past and with more modern equipment, but this was still fun and enjoyed by all. After a lap on an open field, we ventured across the road into slightly more challenging terrain (rocks, hills). Overall, it... More
