Scenic level ride or walk. Beautiful scenery and follows the river. Sometimes in the spring the river can splash over the trail or even take it over in spots. Very exciting to see.

Lovely and easy trail the winds through Glenwood canyon. The views are fantastic. Be aware that there is often road maintenance so be aware of closures.

Definitely our favorite attraction. This year we brought our own bikes, parked in the big hot springs lot and rode to the hanging lakes rest area and park. The hardest part of the ride is definitely the first little bit from town, but it's mostly...More

This is a marvelous trail and a delight both upstream and down. You share the canyon with I-70, but you definitely get the better view. Highly recommended.

We bike the canyon several times a summer and it is always enjoyable. Keep an eye out for tourists - they don't know which way to move when you ring the bell and say "Passing on the left".

Great trip down the trail. Its a nice leisure ride. My 67 year old mother in law and 70 year old father in law enjoyed it too! Worth taking the shuttle!

Which direction? East past Hanging Lake Trail yes. It will be predominantly up hill out. Next to a river all the way. You could lock your bikes and do the trail too. South to Aspen is about 80 miles round trip. Probably... More

It depends on weather. Once snow falls, you don't want to be riding a bike on the trail. Also, as the water rises in the Colorado River, the trail closes, as part of it becomes submerged in the river. Last year, the snow... More
