This year we drove to Bair Ranch rest stop and rode down to Glenwood. (Then I rode back to get car). For those less inclined to round trip it, check out the bike shops in town. I think all of them offer a low cost option to transport you and their rental bike up the canyon for to ride back... More

Picturesque ride along the Colorado River. Really enjoyed the sounds of the river rapids and watching the rafters pass by.

Nice paved trail. We took shuttle 14 miles up and hiked hanging lake trail on the way down. Bike trail had moderate traffic in mid afternoon but little traffic late afternoon early evening. Highway noise.

This is without a doubt the prettiest ride ever. We exited 70 west at exit 133. From there take the frontage road about 3 or 4 miles to its end. There is parking right there for your car. Hop right on and enjoy. You will reach Hanging Lake about 5.3 miles out. We stopped there and hiked the trail. I... More

This is a enjoyable bike ride with much to see. It has some small hills, but nothing to major. Hanging lake is along the way, and is a must see....

The bike trail through Glenwood Canyon is just awesome, the scenery breathtaking, the Colorado River rushing through the high walled canyon, well, just amazing. an easy trail for all levels of riders, just look out for the hard core, who insist on riding as fast as they can and passing you. They will almost always sound a bell or holler... More

We spent the night in Glenwoods Springs and had an 8:30 am bike reservation with Blue Sky Adventures and Canyon Bikes. They were excellent getting our group ready to go with bikes, helmets etc. I would highly recommend everyone using the bags they give you to clip on the front handlebar. It will hold water, ice packs, snacks etc. Bring... More

16 miles through the beautiful canyon with plenty of opportunities for incredible views and great pictures. Mostly downhill and just short/long enough for good exercise but won't drain you. Was 90 when we did it but cool breezes off cold river and a good breese up the canyon make it nice.
