Very informative

This is a very nice Museum, the staff was very knowledgeable about every piece in it, even where the house came from and the area around it.

My husband and I enjoy local museums. This one was delightful. Unique local highlights as well as period artifacts. A lovely volunteer was working the desk.

This is a small museum, actually located in an old home, but it's definitely worth your time. There's a lot of history in there, and the volunteer at the front desk was very knowledgeable.

For our family this was a 30 min to an hour stop. The kids had things to do as they had an activity sheet that they had to find things in the building. Had a few neat facts.

Museum is in a historic house built in 1900's. Cost is $4pp, discount for seniors and kids. There are nice displays about Doc Holliday and Kid Curry as well as furniture pieces and kitchen utensils from that period. Upstairs is a replica of a bedroom from a house in Leadville and an interesting room about mining. The staff were very... More

It was a drizzly day so we decided to do something indoors. This is a small but interesting museum housed in an old house. Interesting collection of artifacts that are mainly about the town of Glenwood Springs, which was fine with us. Admission is cheap, 3 dollars each for seniors and I think 4 for the young folks. Well worth... More

It's another house in the neighborhood but when you go inside, there is a plethora of artifacts, many of which you can touch. The kids were given a paper for a scavenger hunt to find various museum pieces, which kept them engaged and interested in the museum. You could go through it twice and see brand new things.

Go back in time. Vision the late 1800's in the west. Very worthwhile!!! If you are interested, come to the Ghost Walk in the fall to visit Doc Joliday's grave around Halloween.

This is a little gem in Glenwood Springs. It's a former private residence that was granted to the Historical Society. There are lots of hands-on items inside, which is unusual for a museum. It's very well done and a fun stop if you're in the area and have any interest in the local history, which is rich and abundant.
