Beautiful park. Even if you just want to get away from the city and take a drive in the mountains, and don't care about hiking, go!. The hiking is great, and my 10 year old daughter loved the sights.

One of our favorite parks to go for a day hike. Close to west Denver. Lots of trails to choose from.
