Great day tip, walk the board walk, smell the salt air, watch the sea gulls and other birds scurrying across the sandy beach. Take a walk on the wharf, visit the small craft shops, purchase souvenirs and local crafts. At the end of you day, stop in one of thr restaurants and enjoy the local seafood dishes, ours was the... This is a wonderful place to go for a stroll, especially if you have mobility issues. The boardwalk allows you a flat surface to walk along the shore line. It starts and circles back to Fisherman's Cove in Eastern Passage. There are a few places where you can venture off the boardwalk to get closer to the ocean.

Always a nice scenic stroll with neat little colourful shops with unique nic nacks. Great restaurants and view of ocean along the boardwalk. Just need more functions and events to bring people down here

Would I swim here no, but we did wade in the water at low tide! We were staying in the area during holidays and bought a couple of fishing rods as hubby and the kids love fishing. We went down here nightly and they fished. The board walk was a wonderful place to walk. When the tide was out a... More

Boardwalk is a good place for dog walkers, joggers, walkers and getting an ice cream. Beautiful view, great place for photographers and beach combing.

We go walking the boardwalk most evenings as it's quite a lovely area. You can actually follow the boardwalk all the way down along the cove where there are shops and eateries.

This is a wonderful place to get out of your car and take a walk! We walked all around the boardwalk and got some good fresh air. We enjoyed watching the boats, the waves and just enjoying the place.

The boardwalk circuit is popular with people who walk for exercise, or just to stroll and enjoy the seaside. An excellent spot for children to play on a beach. The inner beach is sandy, the outer beach rocky. Swim, if you can tolerate the cold water - it's warmest in early September. (Just don't swim in the channel between the... More

Very pretty little beach and boardwalk nearby the marina and fishing charters. Comb the beach for little bits of seaglass. Small touristy stores surround.
