So you book your plane tickets and your place to stay for a Nov ski trip. All excited about a break from the 80 degree weather of your hometown. Then, no snow in Colorado. Not the Keystone's fault, it is what it is. But your already booked your non-refundable tickets. And then the resort opens anyway with a beginner slope... More

Nice place, even early in the season. Not a lot of snow yet, but i had a good time. Also it's closer to Denver than some of the other ski areas. The shops and cafes are convenient too. There are some ski-in/ski-out places to stay, but i stayed 10 minutes away and had no problem.

This mountain is another awesome ski area from Vail Resorts. It has the sickest snow park in America and a lot of snowboarders. I just rode for two days but was a great experience. The snow was very nice, weather was great and had so many groomed slopes that I really enjoyed my days. If you´re a good snowboarder, definitely... More

I'd be happy to return once there is more snow. They were first resort to open just one run. It was good to just get out for first run so was grateful they were open while we were in town especially to teach kids before real season started. The learning area was very crowded though due to the limited number... More

Very limited terrain due to early season and that whole global warming thing. Pricey but nice facilities, equipment and vilage. Crowds of courese.

Hey they will book your ski vacay whether there is snow or not and gladly take your money! None of the kids activities or kids ski hill is open when we are booked to visit and they won't refund the package and are calling the ski resort "open." Open as in there is a run or two that our kids... More

The skiing is great with multiple peaks to get you away from the people traffic. You can tell that the employees Really! like their jobs which translates into a very fun atmosphere for all.

The gondola is put in a perfect spot, so that you get plenty of rides on the mountain and are able to get to many different terrains. The gondola location is the best part of keystone for me.

As a European used to go snowboarding in the Alpes this is a very small area and quite expensive. That said I did enjoy the slopes with some nice parks and snow cover. I was boarding for 4 days, and I probably think I would be a bit bored if I went for 7 days.

Here’s what I’ve experienced at Keystone: I’ve had to call the ski patrol to ask them to empty the ski-through feature in Riperoo’s kid’s area of young adults doing drugs. The resort’s exterior condo style could be described as 1970’s Canadian military barracks. The yellow-jacket safety enforcers need to be better screened if they are going to work in a... More
