This museum is outstanding for a family. It is free!!! There are farm animals, history with volunteers in historical dress, blacksmith shop, children's play area, old school house, and more. Not far from Denver in Littleton.

The outdoor buildings and farm are so quaint and always a good photo op. Lots to see in side as well. Great for any age.

Great trip back in time. Inside is the typical museum exhibits, but the outside takes you to cottages and buildings as they lived in two different time periods. On special occasions they will have people explaining the process and way of life.

My kids love this museum because it is a working farm! It's free to get in and very educational. This is one of our favorite places to visit when we want to be outside and get some walking in.

We went as a group, and had to find answers inside the museum, to the questions our group leader gave us. Great fun, and I learned a lot about the area, that I didn't know, even though I lived nearby. A couple of the ladies...More

We had a lovely walk through this old fashioned farmyard and enjoyed seeing the animals. The children loved to see the old fashioned school house and sit at the desks.

If the weather is nice and not too hot, at least two hours. There is a blacksmith, pigs, chickens, old school house. If it is raining or super hot there are still things to do inside.
