Love this park. We'll be back often. Visitor center, parking, wide trails, are all great. The best thing is the amazing red rock cliffs. There is a view of downtown Denver off in the distance, about like at Red Rocks Amphitheater. Sunset was amazing. I'd...More

Jeffco Open Space Parks are fabulous for walking, mountain bike or equestrian riding, or just meditating. This park has amazing red rock formations. It's quiet, a place where you can hear yourself think, if you're a hiker or meditator. I highly recommend it, especially during...More

Great place to spend a couple of hours. The park is one of the best maintained in the state of Colorado. It's absolutely stunning with the flat irons.

I had been to Roxborough State Park several times when I was a child. The main loop is a good trail for families - not too long or strenuous. But this past visit I did Carpenter's Peak with my 60 year old father. It's a...More

Small but pleasant to hike. $7 entrance fee.Parking ok. Paved trail. Easy hike. If you have been to the Utah National Parks, then this park will disappoint you.

This is a great place to see red rock formations and hike. The hikes can be short or longer so good for families and all levels of hikers.

This is a really beautiful place. The main loop is easy - mostly flat and wide gravel trail with some steeper side trails that take you to overlooks you should not miss. Highly recommend Roxborough for when you want to stick closet to home.

Decided to do something outdoors while our guests were here. We decided to Roxborough State Park since it was close, about 20 miles away. We all piled in to the oversized SUV and headed south. Very easy to find. The entrance fee is $7.00 per...More

Roxborough is one of the more unique geological sites in the country. The rock formations are beautiful red rocks. There are several hiking trails that wind through the rocks or can take you to the top of several mountain peaks. Watch out for rattlesnakes.

Hi. If you have a State park pass you can get in for free, if not it is a daily fee of $8.00 . Be prepared to have cash on hand in case no one is at front booth then you have to place in a slot. It's worth the beauty. Hope... More

I think there is a park nearby that is closed but Roxborough was alive and well when we visited in September. Mike
