Easy drive up, pre bought tickets online, nice Jr price $54, not crowded, nice variance of ability on the mountain, good food at lodge, enough staff, Enough shuttles from parking lots. Great mountain for students since it's $199 for season pass and it's 30 min away..how great. We had a nice day and it was easy.. we give it an... More

Eldora ski is a great place for beginners. Slopes are well kept and have different degrees of difficulty from the first timers to the seasoned. Nederland is a great little town with several vintage shops. Fun!!

I have a disability related to my leg muscles, so I am unable to ski or snowboard. Ignite (the special needs skiing rental place) was a separate building quite a walk away from the main attractions of the resort, and is only open on saturdays and sundays. There were no other activities for disabled people (snow tubing, snow mobiles), and... More

Grew up skiing at winter park. Live in Lakewood. This place was on our pass this year. This place is a nice 44 mile drive that takes about 1 hour and 10 minutes from my house. This is my second time this season with my wife. If you are going to hit this place, the key is get there early.... More

We took our grandchildren for their first ski lessons. At age four, they were gently encouraged and learned safely skiing well after just a few lessons.

There is clearly not enough parking when you have to turn cars away before the lifts even start running. Beware if you are going on a weekend you need to now get up as early as you needed to get up to ski somewhere on I-70. So disappointing to load up your family, drive up to what used to be... More

We had an awesome time. We happened to be there on a Monday when very few skiers were there. We are new skiers so it was great for us to learn without being crowded. The mountain is smaller than some of the more popular places, but it is still a beautiful setting. The drive from Golden to Nederland and then... More

We booked our sons for ski lessons here with Woodward Sports School. We arrived around 8:30 they started registration around 9 and the boys commenced at 8:0 & 9:45 respectively. The classes had about 10 kids to 1 instructor. Our boys had a blast and couldn't wait to go back out after their lunch break. There is a spacious area... More

I wrote a post titled "Grooming Going Downhill Fast" in 2014 criticizing their efforts at the time. I'm happy to report that, under new ownership, the situation is much improved in 2016. Still not up to the old standard, but acceptable. They've also cut three new runs on the backside that are very nice. We always knew the terrain was... More

Loved our New Years Ski day at Eldora. Very friendly atmosphere, everyone, from the ticket sales persons to the one manning the lifts, was awesome. The resort itself had nice runs, beautiful settings (lost of wooded areas in between slopes). I found it a bit pricey though, but that's maybe just me, we have season passes for other resorts so...
