We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast and the tour of Bachelor Syracuse Mine was informative and entertaining. It was lead by a person that actually worked there.

We learned from a local that the best place for breakfast is out in the open at Syracuse Mine. We went 3 days in a row and finally toured the mine. The food, atmosphere and tour were REALLY GOOD. If you like being outdoors, and smelling the bacon frying and enjoy visiting with everyone this is the place to go.... More

Really had a great time on this tour. The leaned was very knowledgable and entertaining. The walk 1800 feet into the mine was awesome. Highly recommend.

Not usually interested in this type of attraction but had some time to kill. I was pleasantly surprised with the tour and the tour guide. This is a real mine that has not been glamorized to be a tourist attraction. Worth the $13.99 entice fee

Breakfast was OK, but not the best. Very limited menu but it all comes from a group of very friendly and hard working people. We did look into the mine and saw the giant 100 year old pneumatic pump that delivers air pressure to the miners. This is very authentic and interesting - I just don't do mines and tunnels.

The two of the mine was wonderful the guy who gave us the guy was amazing I think if we had someone who had given us instruction on the gold panning that would've been a little more exciting and would've given it a five star rating versus four I definitely recommend it and I going to the Hot Springs after... We have been told that the Molly Kathleen Mine tour in Cripple Creek, CO was rated number one, and they do have working equipment and a larger mine, but the tour of Bachelor Syracuse Mine was by far the most informative and entertaining. A terrific way to spend a morning or afternoon and gold panning after the tour was fun... More
