We visited on a cool rainy fall day and it was warmer in the mine than outside. A great blast from the past tour and Jerry, our tour guide was wonderful! Kids loved it!

Enjoyed about a 45 minute tour of a mine near Ouray. You travel about 1500 feet in a level mine shaft. Tour guide gives demonstrations and visuals of actual hard rock mining technics.

We found that our 1-hour tour with Dave, out tour guide, was extremely informative! It have me a much clearer picture of what mining was like from the late 1800's 1988! He was entertaining with his little side stories! 😁

A very interesting tour. By walking into the mine versus riding a mine cart you get the authentic feeling just like the miners did back in the day! Our guide was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. I highly recommend this tour
