If you are uncomfortable with hiking paths of about a foot and a half along a ledge that has a significant drop, then this is not for you. If these things don't bother you, then this hike is fantastic! I was able to see the...More

You get to see the town from the trail, as well as the cascading waterfall. We walked half the trail one day and the second half on our next visit.

Great views of several waterfalls & the town of Ouray. Goes by the old mine shaft. Trail is slippery due to gravel and could use some maintenance in a few spots.

This hike was fun and full of surprises. Yes there are lots of up climbs, but there are lots of rewards- waterfalls, beautiful views of the town below, snow capped mountains, wooden bridges to cross and a tunnel. Make sure you bring plenty of water.

Perfect trail for great views and a little morning exercise. We finished the trail in 4 hours. It is a fairly easy trail with a few areas of steep inclines and declines. It passes 2 waterfalls so their are some sites on the trail.
