This is right off Rt. 550. Free parking and nominal entrance fee. Short little walk to falls. The falls are nestled in a narrow canyon, so it's hard to see but with the power and volume of water easy to hear and feel the spray....More

Our first thought was...really...a $4 entry fee! But it was SOOO worth it! You have the option to go up and see the falls from above...although you never see the falls in between the rocks. Or you can go down and actually be at the...More

Great view of incredible feature. Upper view has a difficult to moderate hike. Short but steep. Best view of from below. Also loved all the chipmunks

beautiful waterfall worth the time. I understand that in early spring the spray from the falls will get you somewhat wet.

It's just a few minutes walk from just about anywhere in Ouray, and well worth the four buck admission. Even in a town with incredible views in every direction, the rock formations and waterfall are incredible. And take the steep climb up to the bridge...More

The hike up Box Canyon was nice. We especially liked the hike up to the bridge and tunnel. The scenery was gorgeous.

Yes, I would think pets would be fine. But the metal grill walkway, might scare your pet or hard for a pet to walk on.

not sure you may call. Trail is tight in spots it would not be considerate for those who have been bitten ..... like me.

The box canyon is wonderful and worth going. However, you have to walk quite a ways on a metal grate suspended over the river. The space between grates would make it difficult for a pet I think. Then there are the metal... More
