We went in the morning and the kids had fun feeding the ducks but the bigger animals you couldn't even see. they were either in the back of the cages or who knows where we never found them. If you have young children and they...More

This place is interesting, especially if you go during feeding time, but it's kind of like visiting a hospital or orphanage for animals; it's kind of sad. We were the only group with no kids there, and the feeding would have been more enjoyable had...More

Got there around feeding time. This is not a zoo. The animals have been saved. Elk, Bears, coyotes, wolves look well cared for. There are some smaller animals as well pigs, turtles. Inside store is nice and reception was friendly. Good place for keeping the...More

Truly enjoyed the sanctuary - the staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The animals were well taken care of and we were able to feed several of them! Photo ops were awesome!

Fun day of seeing animals and watching the feed. Best time to go is during feeding time @ 2pm when their guides teach you about each animal. Only takes about an hour to do everything they have there so fun for a quick afternoon jaunt.

We came here for the tour that went along with the 2pm feeding. We enjoyed seeing the animals and also hearing some trivia about them. There was a bear, elk, bobcat, wolves, mountain lion, and other animals. Good for kids, teenagers, and adults. Bring your...More
