The powder in this place is amazing. We felt like we had the whole mountain to ourselves. No waiting for the lifts. Fresh snow. Cheap food. Wish we lived closer, we would be in this mountain every weekend for the winter. "Best snow in Colorado".

My husband and I have skied all over--the Northeast, the Alps, etc. But this place has them all beat. Wolf Creek Ski Area is in the middle of nowhere, and that's why it's awesome. It's not expensive (especially compared to other Colorado resorts), and is amazingly not crowded. It also gets a TON of snow; even on a "bad" day,... More

Stayed in Pagosa Springs at a timeshare, Wyndham Resort, and went skiing at wolf creek. Just about a 1 hour drive to either skiing or Durango. Lift tickets very reasonable. Check the website. Senior all day lift ticket $36.00 Equipment rental on site. Pagosa Brewery and restaurant is only one of the brewery's available.

Wolf Creek is the best place to snowboard in Colorado! The lift lines are non-existent and the staff is super friendly. The snow is the most in Colorado as they claim. We were there for 3 consecutive days, and it snowed all 3 days. I know that it was at the end of a dry time for the mountain, but... More

Took the family of 4 for a 1/2 day of skiing on a Monday in late March. Conditions were decent considering it was spring skiing and slopes were wide open - it was like having our own mountain! We heart Wolf Creek!

We only had one day at Wolf Creek but enjoyed it. I would rate my family as either beginners or skiers/boarders with minimal experience. We took a private lesson which was quite helpful. We would go back to Wolf Creek!

The Massey family of five has skied Wolf Creek during spring break for four consecutive years. You can count on plenty of snow, big crowds, a big mountain with a variety of terrain for all levels. The skiing is as good as most of the more famous CO ski resorts running alongside IH70 a little further north. What set Wolf... More

Wasn't sure if my daughter would like skiing, after doing the day ski school she was hooked! Talk about a hidden gem, excellent price and not crowded. We will be back!
